what are my options for a tumor in the tip of my pancreas?

There are too many different types of tumours that may affect the tip or "tail" of the Pancreas..some of them need surgery and some of them do not.you need to see a pancreatic surgeon to have a look at your scans and other investigation to decide ..
If you need surgery , this can be done "if appropriate" as a key hole , an operation called laparoscopic distal pancreatectomy.
Hope this helps....
