I am a 55 yr old female and had been wearing glasses since I was 10 years of age for short sightedness. I had Dr Raja do both of my cataract surgeries on both of my eyes. My left eye was done first with a short sighted lense and immediately I was out of the twilight zone from surgery Dr Raja recommended I should have distance vision in the right eye. I sat at home after surgery with my left lense popped out of my multifocal glasses and thought why shouldn't I do this as I have two weeks of having good clear short distance and am coping with the distance lense from my glasses in the right eye. I made the decision that his advice was the way to go as the body and brain compensate overtime for changes. So I had Dr Raja place a distance lense in my right eye. I went back for the check up the day after my right eye surgery and he told me I had 20/20 vision! I was feeling ever so grateful and do not require any glasses anymore except for a good pair of sunglasses to protect my eyes and to prevent any further cataracts forming. It does take a little adjustment overtime to get used to but it isn't at all frustrating to deal with. Thank you Dr Raja you are such a humble man with wise words and I observed that you get such joy out of giving people back the gift of clear sight. My recommendation is to go for a short distance lense and a long distance lense and to never have to wear any form of correctional glasses ever again. Think of the thousands of dollars you save over your lifetime. The whole process was very well carried out at every step by Dr Raja's office staff and surgical staff. I would go to no other surgeon. DR VIGNESH RAJA IS THE BEST!!! …more
