Jessica Dwyer is a very experienced clinical psychologist that specialises in treating children from 3 to 10 years. She has particular interest and skills in developing social skills for children on the Autism Spectrum.
Jessica has over 20 years experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families with complex emotional, behavioural and social concerns. She first received her Masters of Clinical Psychology and then her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Her early career focus was on preschool mental health where she worked in a day treatment facility for young children. While she continued to focus her studies on young children and their families through early intervention programs at schools and hospitals, she also worked with older children and adolescents in community mental health settings and in private practice.
Several years after relocating to Australia with her family, she began work in the private practice sector. Jessica offers a compassionate, therapeutic approach that includes recognised therapies such as cognitive behaviour therapy and solution focused therapy. Her particular interest and expertise is in the areas of Autism Spectrum disorders, ADD/ADHD, and parenting strategies for toddler and preschool behaviour management problems.
