A
Location: Private practice Apnea - obstructive sleep apnea syndrome

I highly recommend Dr Roth.

Dr Roth performed a combination of nose and throat surgery to repair a broken nose (multiple times) and reduce sleep aponia. He was one of two surgeons I saw prior to treatment.

His pre-surgery consultation was through and covered all options. I took a long time to

A
Location: Private practice Septoplasty and Rhinoplasty

The result is excellent, breathing so much better and the horrible lump has gone, so happy.
Could be improved: I can't think of anything, very caring and very happy with result

A
Location: Private practice dislocated septum

Very friendly, understanding and professional. He gave me a much clearer insight into the actual issue whereas other doctors I'd seen had brushed it off as minor. Post surgery, the difference to my breathing is amazing. Very grateful.
Could be improved: I traveled 1.5 hours by car each way just to attend my appointments with him at Dee Why. It was well worth the effort for the outcome!

A
Location: Private practice Sinus Migraines

Professional. Explained things simply. Understanding.

A
Location: Private practice nasal implants owing to accident

Everything, so professional. Patient, caring, straightforward and very kind. Staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. Just back from overseas with all of the latest info and proceedures, simply wonderful. Would recommend him, and have, to anyone.
Could be improved: Nothing really, if you are ill and have to see a Doctor, would without reservation recommend this one.

  • Question about Otodex Ear drops

    Is Otodex a Steroid?

Otodex contains - dexamethasone (a steroid) mixed with antibiotics. The steroid is very useful in reducing inflammation including swelling within the ear canal. This can facilitate the ear drops reaching further down the ear canal but also help with pain and speed up the healing. It is not absorbed by the body and does not affect other organs outside the ear canal. It is not recommended to be used in the setting of a perforated ear drum.

  • Question about Ear infection

I have a ear infection and my doctor took a swab of my ear to find out it was fungal . I've been prescribed Otocombe Otic ear drops however into day 2 ear is now blocked . I've just been to a GP who stated there's no ear wax just infection and to continue using ? Will my hearing return to normal ?

Otocomb Otic ear drops are an excellent treatment for fungal ear infections. Unfortunately they are quite thick and often temporarily give a sense of blockage in the ear. This will pass with time. If there is any persistent sensation of hearing loss after your ear infection settles it would be important to follow this up with an audiogram by an audiologist.
