I have had amazing success after 12 1/2 years of migraine and daily headaches
Could be improved: distance is an issue for me but I choose to live remotely
My medical practice is run by my wife, Lisa. It's a specialised area ie. Parkinson's disease, tremor, botox treatments including for headaches, hence the appointment process is complex. My wife does an excellent job and gets 5 stars from me. It's a free country, you are welcome to go elsewhere.
Caring doctor who listens, treats you with respect
Could be improved: Unfortunately his receptionist Lisa is not so caring, rude and sarcastic, trying to get an appointment is a nightmare.
Sheer relief to find a Specialist that actually cares, understands & knows what he's talking about. Dr Peppard is the 3rd (& last) Neurologist I've been to & the first to properly diagnose and help me. He actually gave me hope, not easy for a Blepharospasm sufferer. He CAN help you, don't hesitate.
Richard is someone I would strongly recommend. His manner is relaxed and he listens to what you have to say.(many specialists do not listen to what patients have to say!) His premises are below his family residence in a quiet leafy suburb in Hawthorn with parking. Importantly he is a skilled doctor
Dr Peppard has been treating me since 1984 I am 88 now and find him very warm and kind, always ready to listen to any problems.Makes me smile with his wit and joy of life.
I have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease when I was 53 I' now nearly 71 during that time I been mainly treated by dr peppard and recently had dbs .i find him warm ,caring and can tell a good joke or two. I'm indebted to his professionality. I don't know how my life would been without him. .
I was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease at age 36. I just underwent Deep Brain stimulation at age 59 and the result was incredible. This procedure has changed my life for the better and now allows me to participate in general everyday activities. Many thanks to Doc Richard Peppard.
Been a patient for 8 years. Richard is sympathetic, understanding and takes time to explain the dertails. He understands my needs regarding extending my working life wrt Parkinson's. There is a wiilinness to explore and use new methodologies.
Travel 60km to access facility. Always delay in appointment time. Treatment received Botox for cervical dystonia - effective regarding pain relief. Yes I would and have recommended Dr Peppard, he is professional and understanding, willing to listen.
I've been seeing Richard for about 2 years in relation to Parkinsons. I've come to enjoy my consultations. i respect his style and manner, both of which are thoughtful and considered. I have no hesitation recommending him to others. Finally Lisa Peppard is always helpful & responsive to me.
A very caring physician who listens and understands young onset Parkinson's disease very well. Unfortunately, his secretary (Lisa) so and makes even getting a simple appointment unpleasant.
I have been seeing Richard four times a year for 14 years. He is a fantastic professional that can make you feel completely at ease. Just a terrific gentlemen.
Dr Peppard is one of those rare doctors that actually listens to you. he treats you with the respect you deserve, he actually cares about you, and tries to help you with whatever he can. I would recommend him very hightly to anyone.
Richard Listens and considers before he speaks. He treats you as a person, not a number or the disease. I had DBS surgery and it, and Richard, gave me back my life I think Richard and his team are wonderful and have no hesitation in recommending them .
Would have no hesitation in recommending his treatment
I have no hesitation to say I am extremely satisfied with Dr Peppard. No one will ever believe me that I visit him for my "Parkinson".
Dr. Peppard is one of the few neurologists you come across who is not restricted in his consultations by expert ego and therefore, through effectively listening to his patients, you're provided with the peace of mind that he does care.
Dr. Peppard was one of three doctors that performed deep brain stimulation surgery on me for my young-onset parkinsons. I was told not to expect too much, but four months on and I have to say I'm still feeling about 80% better. Thanks Doc!
