Depends on when you have the procedure
5-7 days before the procedure - low residue/low fibre diet.

For morning procedure - Usually clear fluids only from lunch time the day before, and nothing to eat or drink for 6 hours before the procedure

For afternoon procedure - Usually Clear fluids only from Dinner time day before. Fast for 6 hours before the procedure normally as above.
