  • Richard Holloway

    Gastroenterologist, Dr.

    • A
Location: East Adelaide Medical CentreService: Consultation regarding a colonoscopy

I understand Dr Holloway is highly regarded in his chosen field. I have no complaints regarding his capabilities or professionalism. He answered my questions.
Could be improved: Appointment times were running 45 mins. to one hour behind. Also, Dr Holloway needs to work on empathy with the patient. He is brusque, which of course is not unusual in specialist practitioners, but one does grow rather tired of that attitude.

    Orthopaedic Surgeon, Dr.

    • A
Location: North Eastern Community HospitalService: ACL reconstruction

Dr Webb was the only surgeon out of quite a few that I consulted with who seemed to be able to explain my situation and injury in terms that I could actually understand. Extremely professional in his approach towards everything along with outstanding follow up throughout my surgery and rehab.
Could be improved: Cannot think of anything that I could ask for better. Great surgeon, great specialist and a great guy! Extremely happy with the outcome of my surgery and the whole over-all experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

    • A
Location: Orthopaedics SAService: discussion re replacement knee

very friendly, explained everything in full detail, very professional, made me feel confident that he could "handle" everything. talked to me as an "equal"[does not always happen when your birth date is 1934!]. Dr Webb has great sense of humour as well.
Could be improved: no need to improve just keep on doing what he is.

Since 2000, Dr. Clayer has been treating me for agressive PVNS of left knee. Always respectful, honest & direct. A very skillful & meticulous Surgeon who always searches for the best outcome for the Patient. I would've long ago been seriously disabled if it weren't for Mark's skill abillity!

    • R
      Location: another placeService: Decompression surgery

A wonderful surgeon who performed a chiari malformation decompression on myself in 1997, changing my life forever for the better. I will never forget his kindness and understanding to my whole family for a condition that was then considered very rare. I still consider myself so lucky to have my life changed in such a way.

  • Robert Fassina

    Orthopaedic Surgeon, Dr.

    • K
      Location: another placeService: Numb thigh

First appointment went well with thorough examination. Then had MRI and went back for follow ou- still painful. Was kept waiting 50 mins. and when I did get in (even sorer on uncomfortable chair at Burnside Hospital) no apology offered and time cut short. Left feeling as though I was a nuisance.

    • A
Location: Adelaide Orthopaedic And Trauma SpecialistsService: Hip replacement

Dr Fassina spent considerable time talking about exactly what my hip replacement would involve. He talked about the best way to get into my hip joint (from the front in my case) and what my recovery would be like. His caring attitude sets him appart from other doctors I've seen.
