Dr Labib was very professional, and very gentle. He's is very easy to talk to, and I cannot fault him at all. Explained the entire procedure to me, in simple terms. I had thyroid cancer.

Dr. Labib is so professional, & was very gentle and easy to talk to. I called on Friday to book an appt, his office staff created an appointment especially for me on Monday (even though he doesnt normally see patients that day) when they found out I had cancer. The next day I was booked for surgery

Dr Labib was easy to talk to and very professional.
Could be improved: The office staff are inefficient and insist on blaming "the other girl" for errors made.

The level of professionalism, understanding and compassion I received from Mr Labib and his staff far exceeded that of the surgical practices I have been to in the past. Thanks to his surgical skills and his Receptionist's guidance, I can now pick up my 2 y.o. son without fear of pain or injury,
Could be improved: The frequency of the lifts at St John of God's Wexford Medical Centre.

The secretary staff needs to be honest with the patients. For instance, when I asked how much costs a visit to the doctor it has been told me a lower price than I was charged. Thus, I end up paying more on the visit which wasn't fair.

Mr Labib was professional, easy to talk to and available to contact via phone. 1 week out from surgery and parts of my scar are almost invisible. Great bedside manner and great knife skills apparently. I did have to pay a gap fee.

I got an appointment within a few days of calling. Other surgeons told me to wait 3-4 weeks for an appointment. Then he booked my surgery a few days after that. I didn't even have to pay any gap for his surgical fees (some other doctors wanted to charge me $700 out of pocket). I can't recommend enuf

Absoutely amazing person. Very friendly and makes you feel very comfortable. Didn't make me feel like I was asking stupid questions. Highly recommended.
Both methods can be safely used to perform this surgery, however the key hole surgery "laparoscopic" would be more recommended for hernias on both sides as we can use smaller incisions.
