  • Question about AVM - cerebral

I was diagnosed with a large AVM over the left parietal lobe last Friday by an MRI. I have been having daily migraines and chronic neck pain for nearly 5 weeks now. My migraines always start with an "aura". I am waiting to be referred to a neurologist. Is my migraines and neck pain be symptoms?

Your symptoms may certainly be related to the AVM. You will also need to see a neurosurgeon with Cerebrovascular expertise to discuss treatment options for your AVM.

    Dr. Amal Abou-Hamden
