Hi there,

Ovestin mainly helps with vaginal dryness. Only small amounts of the oestrogen is absorbed into the system. Therefore it is not effective in treating hot flushes or other systemic menopausal symptoms such as poor sleep and mood disturbances. For the systemic symptoms, you would require other forms of HRT.

Probably nothing . The base compound levodopa has a half life of 60-90 mins. Both Madopar and Sinemet increase that to 120-150 mins. Stalevo further increases the active life to about 180-200mins.

Hence the need in advanced PD to need Duodopa, Apomorphine or Deep Brain Stimulation.

Madopar 62.5mg is the lowest dose of Madopar, and usually used in the starting phase of treatment.
